A person employs recall, for example, when reminiscing about a vacation or reciting a poem after hearing its title. Most students would rather take a multiple-choice test, which utilizes recognition memory, than an essay test, which employs recall memory.
During memory recall, there is a replaying of neural activity that was originally generated in the brain during a specific event. This echoes the brain’s perception of that specific event which is not completely identical to that event. In this way, the brain remembers the information and details of the event.
Recognition refers to our ability to “recognize” an event or piece of information as being familiar, while recall designates the retrieval of related details from memory.
As verbs the difference between recall and remember is that recall is to withdraw, retract (one’s words etc); to revoke (an order) while remember is to recall from one’s memory; to have an image in one’s memory.
Saying “I don’t know” usually means you never knew the answer to the question.By saying “I don’t recall,” it can be inferred that you once knew the answer but now cannot remember it due to the passage of time or for some other reason.
Remember may mean “to bring to mind or think of again,” recall “to bring back to mind,” and recollect “to bring back to the level of conscious awareness.” There are circumstances in which any of these three words are interchangeable with any of the others, and other circumstances in which one or more of these words …
The verb recall means to remember something. Recall is also used as a verb to mean to request a person to return somewhere. It is used as a noun to refer to an order by a company or manufacturer for a product to be returned for some reason, especially a defect. Recall has several other senses as both a verb and a noun.
When you recall something, you remember it, like telling your friend, “As I recall, you said you’d buy my lunch the next time we got together.” Recall can also be a noun — you may know someone who has great recall, or memory, of events that everyone else has forgotten.

Core is most familiar used as a noun referring to the central or most important part of something (“the core of the issue,” “the Earth’s core”) or to the usually inedible central part of a fruit (“an apple core”).
In common parlance, the core of the body is broadly considered to be the torso. The major muscles of the core reside in the area of the belly and the mid and lower back (not the shoulders), and peripherally include the hips, the shoulders and the neck.
Centre is the other word for the word core.
Core is defined as the most important or main thing. An example of core is the main goal of the police department to protect and serve. Core is defined as to remove the seeds and fibrous insides of fruit. An example of core is removing the seeds from the inside of an apple.
Unlike the mineral-rich crust and mantle, the core is made almost entirely of metal—specifically, iron and nickel. The shorthand used for the core’s iron-nickel alloys is simply the elements’ chemical symbols—NiFe. Elements that dissolve in iron, called siderophiles, are also found in the core.
