The Blue Book or Kelley Blue Book is a guidebook that compiles and quotes prices for new and used automobiles and other vehicles of all makes, models, and types.
Blue books come in two sizes: 8.5 by 7 inches, which was the original size, or 11 by 8.5 inches.

Here are a few market places that might help you get top dollar for your bike. Autotrader (motorcycles only) , Motorcycle Classics, and of course Cycle Trader. For local listings you might even try Oodle, Pennysaver, or one of my favorites, Offerup. Local listing platforms usually have lower or zero fees to sell.

Sell a motorcycle the easy way. It’s going to be hard to sell your bike, and that comes from a combination of predictable hurdles, some of which are beyond your control. But when you can recognize the roadblocks, you can be prepared for a workaround and increase your chances of selling for a decent price.
It is advised to let potential buyers test drive a motorcycle you are selling. It’s also advised to have collateral against the buyer during a test drive such as the full asking price in cash and/or their driver’s license in the case they steal the motorcycle or damage it.

But, the ONLY way it makes any sense whatsoever, is if someone is SERIOUSLY strapped for cash and must move a bike immediately. The offers they make people are ridiculous, even insulting.
Can You Sell A Motorcycle To A Dealer? Many dealers buy and sell used bikes, and some will take your bike on consignment. If you sell it through a dealer on consignment, you may get a better price, but you have to wait for it to sell before you get paid.
If you think a different bike better suits your style, go back to the same dealer within one year and get your purchase price back in trade value towards a new 2017, 2018 or 2019 motorcycle.
For smaller sports bikes, a mileage above 20,000 to 30,000 is on the high side, while larger motorcycles are considered high mileage after the 50,000-mile point.

Blue books can cost as little as quarter up to $1 or more depending on where you purchase them. Students generally buy blue books at college bookstores, stationery supply stores, and even at some big-box stores. Students nearly always bring their own blue books to exams.

If you don’t have the original card receipt, you may still be able to be reimbursed if you have the gift card number or if you registered the card at the issuer’s site when you received it.
