United States Schools that Accept the Common Application
You can self report your test scores within the Common Application Testing section including the ACT, SAT/SAT Subject, AP, IB, TOEFL, PTE Academic, and IELTS. It’s important that you research which test scores are required by your prospective colleges.
Creating Your Account You may want to create a separate email address for your college applications. A good format for is [email protected] By using your new email address, you’ll keep your college planning organized. Be sure to use that same email address to register for the ACT or SAT too.
Create a Common App account Now is a great time to start exploring the application so you know what questions you’ll be asked. You can create a Common App account at any time, and your account can rollover from year to year, using the same username and password.
Creating a first year Common App account is easy and should only take a few minutes.
In general, the Common Application is designed to be completed one time and submitted to all of the colleges at once, or over a period of time. If you need to change information on a submitted application, you must contact the college’s admissions office directly to ask how they would like you to proceed.
